The Danish team, The Muscadets\u2014comprising Ali Amidi, Jannick Wang and Domen Presern\u2014represented the red-and-white colors.<\/p><p>Earlier this year, they won the Danish national blind tasting championship in Copenhagen.The competition has been organized annually since 2013 by the French wine magazine La Revue du Vin de France. This year\u2019s event took place at Fort des Rousses in the Jura region, where the 40 teams were gradually narrowed down to four finalists.In the final, contestants were asked to identify 12 wines\u2014six white and six red\u2014over the course of three hours. Teams had to determine each wine\u2019s country of origin, grape variety or varieties, appellation, vintage, and producer. Host nation France took first place this year, after finishing a modest 28th last year.
